July humidity in Busan and Incheon shows up in our maintenance logs as biofilm haze and falling inhibitor titration, even on loops that looked clear in spring.

The Usual Mistake

Operators top up with distilled water when level drops, without matching the existing chemistry. Over two quarters the inhibitor concentration drifts below vendor minimum. Pumps sound fine; hash rate creeps down 2–3% because ASIC cold plates run warmer before overt alarms trigger.

We publish a simple rule for clients: top up with pre-mixed fluid from the same SKU the cabinet shipped with, or call us for a sample before adding anything. The Park family operation in Busan (see Client Stories) caught a weeping fitting during a quarterly visit — the fluid had turned slightly cloudy from ratio drift.

Sampling on Site

Each maintenance visit includes a 100 ml sample labelled with cabinet serial and date. We compare titration against the log history, not a single pass/fail threshold. A gradual slope matters more than one borderline reading.

Storage in Korean Summers

Fluid drums stored in non-conditioned rooms lose efficacy faster. We recommend a shaded 18–25°C corner, capped tight, used within the manufacturer shelf window. Do not pour from drums that sat through a heat wave without agitation — stratification happens in glycol blends.
