About Appsequoiafield Mining Review

Registered mining equipment advisory in Seoul, established 2018, specialising in hydro-cooled rigs above 0.05 EH/s for heat-sensitive sites.

Official registered name: Appsequoiafield Mining Review Co., Ltd.

Established: 2018

Registered office: Office 6, 29 Sample-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul 00000

Our History

Appsequoiafield began when two field engineers — one from industrial chiller maintenance, one from mid-scale mining operations — kept meeting at jobs where air-cooled rigs had been installed in spaces that could not tolerate the exhaust. Clients asked for a neutral party who understood both ASIC behaviour and Korean building realities.

We incorporated in Yeongdeungpo-gu in 2018 with a narrow mandate: document, commission, and maintain hydro-cooled mining equipment rated at 0.05 EH/s and above in heat-sensitive environments. We do not manufacture cabinets, host hash pools, or sell coin. Our income comes from site work and written reports operators can hand to landlords, insurers, and partners.

What We Do Today

Our Approach

We treat every site as a plumbing and thermodynamics problem first. Hash rate matters, but a stable loop matters earlier. Technicians carry manufacturer manuals for the cabinets we most often see in Korea — single-loop 0.08 EH/s units, dual-exchanger 0.12 EH/s stacks, and imported 0.15 EH/s frames — and we update binders when clients introduce new models.

We photograph every manifold connection before cover panels go back on. Reports use plain language: outlet water temps, variance in TH/s, and a short list of remedial items ranked by urgency.

People

Jae-hoon Kim — Lead commissioning engineer. Fifteen years in industrial HVAC before moving to liquid-cooled compute hardware.

Elena Rostova — Thermal audit specialist. Background in building energy modelling for mixed-use developments in Seoul.

Soo-min Park — Maintenance coordinator. Schedules loop service visits and maintains client coolant history logs.

Values We Operate By

Community

We speak at small operator meetups in Yeongdeungpo and publish field notes on loop chemistry and summer derating. When municipal guidance on industrial water use shifts, we summarise what it means for basement installs — without replacing legal counsel.
